To me it is very important to emphasize that my paintings are done from memory. I value this experience just as much as if I had spent hours researching for images in a concious way. I call them Exteriors because there is always some action taking place on the outside; and sometimes the absence of action. Places unseen taking shape in the process of being created through painting.
