Commissioned by Ford Canada for their Taurus X on www.ford.ca http://www.ford.ca/app/fo/en/suvs_crossovers/taurus_x.do "Ideally, the experience of traveling should allow its travelers to transcend to new and unexpected dimensions. I chose to do a painting that would carry this feeling, which was translated into a manner that uses layers of transparencies. Combined with this is the awareness that traveling is indeed an adventure and if so, may it be of a pleasant and beautiful nature. These were the thoughts I had in mind when I created this painting." The Nulty-Senf Shower

2002 The Nulty-Senf Shower 's walls were first prepared with a dark mortar and hardened, then a coating of white mortar was laid on top which I scratched to reveal the dark underneath. The ceiling was painted. Much appreciation to master mortar man Norbert Senf.
